Manual for the Conscious Car Driver is out in paperback August 28, 2025.

I’ll be doing readings, talks and book signings at bookshops, writers’ groups and libraries up and down the country thereafter, so please check out my events page and if you happen to be nearby, pop in and introduce yourself (authors are real people and need loving too…!)

As you’ll read, I first put pen to paper on the script at the age of about 19… and it’s taken 30+ years to get the book published and into the public domain…

The sequel, which I also wrote in my late teens, will hopefully be out next year! Set in many exotic locations  around the world, it follows Dig’s ‘hero’s journey’ as he ‘finds himself’ against the backdrop of India, Australia and the rest of Europe. I may need to travel to some of these places next year, for research purposes you’ll understand (he he).. More news on what I get up to in my blog.
